1. The Company
This website is operated by Travelplanet24 S.A. Travel Agency, and is registered in Athens, Greece, 4, Karagiorgi Servias Str, P.O 10562 Syntagma, VAT Reg. No. EL999098484, 70089/01NT/B/10/156, operating license by Greek National Tourism Organisation (0206E6100183901) represented by Kristof Keim and Mr. Philipp Brinkmann.
2. Acceptance of General Terms and Conditions
The use of Tripsta.ie website and services offered are governed by the following General Terms and Conditions (GTC). In these conditions “we”, “us” and “our” shall mean Tripsta.ie.
It should be noted that the GTC of Tripsta.ie apply to all reservation commands given by the user either through the web portal of Tripsta.ie or through our Call Center agents.
By making a reservation or purchasing a product or service offered through our website, the user unconditionally accepts the General Terms and Conditions of Tripsta.ie.
3. Services - Application of General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
Tripsta.ie is a portal offering travel products and services. Tripsta.ie is an intermediary in delivering to a client travel services (including flight bookings, car rentals, hotel bookings, ferry tickets, last minute trips, other travel services etc.) provided by organizers/providers of each product or service who are mentioned on the website.
The reservation of a product or service through Tripsta.ie website is made possible only if it is available.
In case a reservation is completed, the contract is binding both for the customer and the providers of the product or service.
The responsibility of Tripsta.ie is exclusively limited to intermediating between customers and providers of travel products and services. Tripsta.ie is not a tour operator and doesn’t organize travel on its own. The compliance of contracts made by Tripsta.ie is exclusively binding for the actual provider. Make sure you that you have read the providers’ Terms and Conditions carefully. The user should consult the general trading terms of the organizers/providers thereof.

Customers may contact our call center and visit Tripsta.ie offices during its working hours:
- Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:30
5. Booking Procedure
By filling in a special reservation form available on our website and completing a booking, the customer gives strict instructions to Tripsta.ie to intermediate a provided travel service, offered by the actual provider, or any other service related to the execution of travel.
Subject to the customer’s authorization for required intermediation are defined as follows:
- Reservations made by the user through Tripsta.ie
- Reservations made by the user through our Call Center
By confirming a reservation the user is bound in any case.
Reservations NOT processed through the website of Tripsta.ie may have different pricing.
In case of short-term changes of any booked service or product by the user (failure of service by the provider, e.g. flight delay or cancellation), Tripsta.ie will try to contact you by phone or e-mail to inform about these changes. However, Tripsta.ie does not hold any responsibility for changes, delays or cancellations of any other travel related services provided by other providers.
The user is liable to follow the terms and conditions set by each provider, for example, an airline’s restrictions concerning the check-in time or the return flight confirmation. The user is informed about such conditions by the provider.
6. Booking confirmation, delivery of travel documents
After completing a reservation through the Tripsta.ie website, the user instantly receives a booking confirmation via e-mail.
The user is responsible to IMMEDIATELY check the accuracy of the confirmation details (such as name, date of departure, destination, etc.) and to inform Tripsta.ie in case of any errors which might have occurred during the registration procedure.
Any errors reported by the user more than 24 hours after the booking registration procedure cannot be confirmed. These changes may incur additional charges.
In case of any mistakes made by the client during the booking process, additional charges may be applicable even in the case where the user had provided additional information within the mentioned period of 24 hours.
Many providers, especially low-cost airlines, do not proceed to any error amendment after the booking has already been registered by the user.
The overdue report of errors or the inability to correct them will not result in right of withdrawal from the agreement concluded with Tripsta.ie.
The airline tickets are sent to the user as electronic tickets (e-ticket) via electronic mail (e-mail).
In case of reservations concerning hotels or car rentals no special documents are sent. The user receives a simple e-mail with the booking details. In this case the user has to provide a copy of the booking confirmation and the accompanying voucher (if applicable) sent by Tripsta.ie directly to the hotel or car rental agency.
Following specific agreement a user may receive the travel documents from Tripsta.ie offices during their opening hours.
The service fee of Tripsta.ie as an intermediate is always included in the total price of each provided product or service.
Tripsta.ie is informed of the current prices of travel products and services by each provider. Tripsta.ie is not liable for any price changes made by providers.
Tripsta.ie is not liable for any fees or charges which might be imposed by any provider in the case of cancellations of products or services. The possible fees or charges must be covered by the user to full extent.
Additional charges from low-cost airlines
The purchase of tickets from low-cost airlines usually covers the basic fare of the transportation only. Luggage and other services are usually not included in the total price. The carrying of additional luggage can also be requested after the flight reservation is completed. Additional charges, defined by each airline itself may apply. If the customer decides (after having completed booking) for the addition of luggage there will consequently be a 5€ baggage surcharge from Tripsta.ie, in addition to the charges by the airline.
8. Payment Methods
The payment methods are listed on Tripsta.ie website separately for each product or service. Payment methods shown on the website are the only accepted methods. In particular, almost every credit card type is accepted. Credit card information is used in cases such as confirmation of reservation. In case the payment is processed with a credit card of a third person, the written authorization of the cardholder is required.
In case the reservation concerns a combination of two low-cost flights, the customer is liable to have sufficient funds on the credit card used for the transaction, equal or greater than the total cost of the two separate flights. Should the total cost of the transaction exceed the funds available on the credit card, this might result in a disrupted booking, for example, in double flight bookings, only one of the two flights will be purchased regularly whereas the other one might not be processed.
In case the payment is processed by credit card, the entire amount will be charged when the booking is completed. If the payment is processed via bank deposit, the payment transaction has to be completed within a timeframe of 24 hours in order for it to be processed for ticketing.
Before the payment process has been finalized and we have received the payment, Tripsta.ie has no obligation to provide any tickets or other travel documents to the user. In any case, the customer is still responsible for paying the total price of the booked services and products.
Tripsta.ie may request any additional documents or proof of payment from the user such as an address and a copy of the credit card or bank deposit receipt via fax or/and by e-mail before issuing tickets or vouchers.
9. Cancellations, changes
The option to change or cancel a ticket, or a different product or service provided by Tripsta.ie, is subject to the conditions set by each single provider.
The cost that may arise by changing or canceling a travel service, defined by the conditions of each provider is exclusively payable by the user.
In case the provider gives the user the option to cancel or change a product or service, the user who wishes to make any changes or cancellations is responsible to inform Tripsta.ie via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or by fax at +30 210 72 99 664. In case the instruction for the amendment of a booking or service (such as cancellation/change) is submitted out of working hours, Tripsta.ie will consequently consider the next working day as the processing date.
Tripsta.ie will contact the user for the settlement of the change or cancellation request, with an automated email. If for any reason the user does not receive the message, is solely responsible for contacting tripsta.ie so as to establish that his request is received and being processed. Tripsta.ie is not responsible if due to any technical reasons the communication process is not completed.
Tripsta.ie may not cancel/change a reservation before receiving a written request as mentioned above.
In case of cancellation or partial cancellation of any product or service purchased by the user through Tripsta.ie, the service fee of Tripsta.ie is non-refundable. Additional charges may apply as stated below:
• Flight tickets: 35 € per passenger in addition to the cancellation fees of the airline, if applied.
• Hotels: Only the cancellation fee of provider, if applied.
In case a client requests modification of a booking, product or service which has been processed through Tripsta.ie, additional charges may apply.
The time frame for a final refund to be made to the client depends on the nature of the product or service purchased via Tripsta.ie and may vary from case to case.
In particular, in case of cancellation or change of flight bookings, refunds to the clients will be processed only after the airline company itself has proceeded with the refund to Tripsta.ie. The refund process might therefore take up to several months. Tripsta.ie processes refunds for flight bookings at the end of each month, provided that the refund process of the airline company has taken place. Tripsta.ie bears no responsibility for potential delays on the part of any airline company process.
Refunds of other products or services from Tripsta.ie will be processed 60 working days following the cancellation date.
10. Rejection of reservation
Tripsta.ie has the right to reject any booking command received by the user should it violate against the terms and conditions stated on the website.
11. Provisions relating to passports, visas, currency and health regulations
If the user is travelling abroad, he/she should comply with all the relevant regulations on passports, visas, customs, regulations for imports and exports of goods as well as health conditions. The user bears the responsibility of complying and informing himself about possible restrictions and regulations. Tripsta.ie provides some general information on its website related to the user but in no case the company is responsible for the validity and completeness of all provided information. For reliable information the customer should contact the airline company (provider of the flight) or the consulate of the country to be visited.
12. Disclaimer of liability
All information and data concerning products and services are provided by each supplier. Tripsta.ie undertakes every effort to verify the published data of its accuracy and actuality but holds no responsibility for the information provided and published on its website.
Tripsta.ie is not responsible in the case a product or service is unavailable on the date of booking. Tripsta.ie is not responsible for fulfillment of the contract between the user and the provider. In no case Tripsta.ie is responsible for acts, errors, warranties, violation or denial of any provider or for injury, death, property damage or other losses that may arise due to a cause related to the use of the website and the information, product and services offered by the provider or any unauthorized third party interventions in products or services which are offered though this website. Tripsta.ie bears no responsibility and will not reimburse any delay, cancellation, overbooking, strike or any other reason beyond its control. Moreover, it bears no liability to indemnify any additional expenses, omissions, delays, rerouting or act of any government authority.
As for the bookings with the best price mix technology, in case of cancellation of one part of the booking due to an external factor (e.g. strike, weather), Tripsta.ie cannot guarantee that it can amend the rest of the booking data without any extra charge. In case the user would like to totally amend/cancel the booking, the terms and conditions of the airline company apply.
Over 100.000 hotels are available in the Tripsta.ie database, including some two-star ones. These hotels are suitable for travelers wishing to travel economically and are not recommended to our clients. Tripsta.ie doesn’t recommend a particular hotel and does not guarantee the quality of all hotels presented on our website. For further recommendations, you may consult ratings made by other customers who have stayed in certain hotels you may be interested in.
Tripsta.ie makes every possible effort for the proper operation of the website without providing any guarantee for the normal function and suitability concerning the software, the products and offered services as well as functionalities to continue normally and are free from viruses and other harmful evidence. The same applies to the other information included on this website and provided by third parties.
Under very exceptional cases, the price of the air fare shown on Tripsta.ie website may not be valid on final booking confirmation. Tripsta.ie is only bound to the price appeared on the e-ticket transmission.
The information provided here is subject to constant change. Tripsta.ie or any partner/s has/have the right to make changes on the website at whatever time.
13. User responsibility
The website must be used only for legal purposes and be conducted with legal means so as not to restrict or prevented the use by others. The user is obliged to use the website in accordance with morality, the law and the present conditions and to refrain from acts or omissions that may affect, endanger as well as cause damage or malfunction to the services provided by Tripsta.ie.
By using this website, the user ensures that he/she is at least 18 years old and meets all the legal requirements for using this website. The user is required to supervise and take responsibility for any use of the website by minors on his/her behalf. He/she also guarantees the accuracy and the completeness of all submitted information concerning personal data.
Any reservation booked for profit or misleading purposes, or aiming to defraud or increase demand is prohibited. The option of booking products or services via this website is allowed only with legal reservations, and purchases in the name of the user or relating to other users on their own account and on behalf of those who have the right to act. The user accepts that the abuse of services provided by Tripsta.ie may cause his/her exemption from accessing this website.
14. Copyright, trademarks
The copyright and all other protected rights concerning the website belong exclusively to Tripsta.ie. The content of this website is exclusively copyrighted by Tripsta.ie unless it is duly referred to a third party property. The name of trispta.co.uk as well as all trademarks, logos and graphic designs shown on the website belong exclusively to Tripsta.ie or to their parties.
Any copy, distribution, transformation, processing, resale or creation of derivative work is forbidden as well as deception to the public concerning the actual website content provider. Any reproduction, republication, uploading, communication, distribution or transmission or any other use of the content in any way, for commercial or any other purposes is only permitted on prior permission of Tripsta.ie or other holder of copyright.
15. Applicable Law
Relations between the users of website and Tripsta.ie are explicitly bonded by the Greek Law, excluding rules of private international law.
The courts of Athens are responsible for resolving any disputes between the parties.
16. Amendment of General Terms and Conditions
Tripsta.ie reserves the right to amend or to renew the above terms and conditions related to the use of this website at any time, without being obligated to inform the user. Current General Terms and Conditions shall always be displayed on the website and are applicable in the given point of time. The user accepts all relative amendments with further use of our website after they are made.
The validity of the above terms cannot be limited to any contrary trading conditions of the user. Amendments and additions to these conditions are valid only if they are consistent with the internal regulations established by the legal representative of Tripsta.ie. Amendments and additions to these terms as well as additional agreements must be made in writing. Transmission via fax and e-mail is equivalent to any written agreement between the parties.
